2024 Bible Reading Plan

How can a young man keep his way pure?
By keeping it according to Your word.
With all my heart I have sought You;
Do not let me wander from Your commandments.
Your word I have treasured in my heart,
That I may not sin against You.
Blessed are You, O  Lord;
Teach me Your statutes.
With my lips I have told of
All the ordinances of Your mouth.
I have rejoiced in the way of Your testimonies,
As much as in all riches.
I will meditate on Your precepts
And regard Your ways.
I shall delight in Your statutes;
I shall not forget Your word.
— Psalm 119:9-16

This year, as we seek to follow the Lord Jesus Christ, what better way than to read through the Scriptures together as a congregation? We know that the man of God may be equipped for every good work through the Scriptures. (2 Tim 3:16-17). At Legacy this year, we’re being challenged to read the Bible together. Jesus responded to the devil when tempted, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God’” (Matt. 4:4). Do we as Christians feed upon the Word of God for our sustenance? We must!

The reading plan below consists of daily readings for 2024, categorized daily by literary genre. Sunday features several chapters in an epistle (Romans-Jude), Monday will be reading through the Law (Gen-Deut), and so forth.
