CHRIST-LIKE SUBMISSION
This week we are going to continue to study the Lord’s command for us to submit to our husbands. For preparation, please read I Peter 2 and 3 and also Ephesians 4:17-24 and Ephesians 5. If you haven’t already, please ask your husband for his perspective regarding this matter. We will discuss what Christ-like submission looks like: submission that is willing/intentional, loving, sacrificial, and joyful. Does that describe you, sister? What conditions do you intentionally or unintentionally desire or even demand in order to submit?
We will also discuss regeneration and the “put off/put on” principle in our current Ephesians passage- and in particular, how this relates to submitting to our husbands.
