As you may recall, Paul and Silas have been unjustly beaten and thrown into a Macedonian prison for their testimony of the gospel. 

We come again to our study of Acts chapter 16 and the account of Paul and Silas’ experience in Philippi of Macedonia.  Our focus this morning will be on verses 25-28. 

We are visiting again Acts chapter 16 verses 16-40.  Our focus for this week will be verses 22-25. As you may recall, Luke is giving an account of Paul’s second missionary journey and recent entrance into Philippi of Macedonia. 

We are coming again to our study in Acts chapter 16, and the account of the demon-possessed slave girl whom Paul, Silas and Luke confronted in Philippi of Macedonia.  Our focus for this article will be verses 19-21.

I have found myself recently exploring and studying the experiences of the Apostle Paul and his companions in the book of Acts, and have become particularly intrigued again by the account of the “demon-possessed, slave-girl evangelist” (long title, I know) and the subsequent conversion of the Roman jailer in the 16th chapter.
